Recently, the preliminary hearings in the case of singer D4vd, accused of the murder of a 14-year-old girl, have taken place.
On September 9, 2025, it was reported that a body was found in an impounded vehicle in Los Angeles, California. The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a report of a foul odor coming from an impounded car that had been at the property for a couple of days and discovered the body, which had been placed inside a bag.

The car was found to be a Tesla registered to D4vd.
Since then, the victim has been identified as Celeste Rivas Hernandez, with court documents alleging that the pair were engaged in a relationship for years. Additional details have created a timeline of when the murder was alleged to have occurred, along with new gruesome court details.
According to prosecutors, D4vd lured Hernandez to his home on April 23, 2025, where he stabbed her and let her bleed to death before attempting to create an alibi.
It is then believed that on May 5, after ordering supplies, D4vd mutilated her body, making visits to a dump site presumably to get rid of evidence on May 8 and 31st. During the hearings, photos of Hernandez’s mutilated body were shown, revealing that her fingers with tattoos linked to D4vd were removed.
On May 23, D4vd attended M!Countdown, where he performed and greeted K-Pop artists. His performance has since been removed from YouTube, but his other activities, including busking, have remained online.
